Position 5: Global Game Jam 2020 The Support Simulator nobody wanted! Play as a support character fighting against the boss, except you cannot damage him. You must heal and buff your allies to win the game. The only problem? They all stink, and they all blame you for it. Fight your way through two difficulties, all while trying not to lose and get reported for AFK. This was made in Unity, where I put together most of the scripting and gameplay. Random Item Generation Project
This is a short preview of some randomized item generation I spent some time on for a new
RPG
project. It is data driven,
and relational, which makes it an incredibly powerful and useful tool for a Diablo or POE
style
loot game. New things I have since added
are randomized names of items and generated stat values for item drops.
The art assests are all neat assest I found on itch.io that I found helpful for testing.
As an engineer at Goodyear, I work as part of a team supporting our ecommerce websites. We work with various busniess teams to translate their needs to cloud applications and RESTful APIs. I personally lead a small team of developers to overhaul our internal API network, and work with external partners like Tesla and Valvoline to integrate our tire ordering system and data steams. My team and I also architected and implemented a total replatforming of over 8+ ecommerce websites for Goodyear and Cooper Tire.
ODH gave me the greatest learning experience I could ask for by challenging me to be just as productive as any other developer on the team. I spent my time there working in an agile enviroment with Mircosoft tools like MSSQl Databases, Azure source control, and .NET MVC. A few of the resources/tech our project requires are:
